Names Melinda Roberts. I fell into SEO right after graduating college with my BS in CIS. Started working for a small web design company doing directory submissions, and soon there after, I was bored enough to pull out my hair. 3 months later I finally decided I’d try to figure out what I was doing these directory submissions for and that’s when I stumbled into SEO.
Since my background was already in web design and web based applications, SEO was right up my alley. Shortly after, I proposed my desire to become more within the company and asked for the title Website Marketing Specialist. After my drive to be involved in the SEO industry was presented to the President of the company, where he recognized my fast learning ability and unique approach to the the industry, I was taught the ropes handed 100+ clients to manage.
A few years there after, I had to relocate to Arizona and find a new job in the same industry that I fell in love with; SEO. After months of research to find a firm that would allow me to use my creative and psychology driven approach to SEO, I came across Obu Web Technologies, Inc. There I was given a handful of clients where I could provide a full array of optimization services from on-page optimization to social networking. I now hold the title Director of Online Marketing.
I am continuing to grow as an SEO expert and find myself involved in communities such as: Sphinn.com, Digg.com, StumbleUpon, Myspace.com, and many others to contribute my thoughts about SEO past, present, and future.

I must admit I like your companies business plan. I hope they actually ‘get er done’ because maybe then I can stop worrying about all the other companies with the same vision and come work for yours. However I heard something about 21 straight days of tempatures over 105? If so I think I’ll stick to Southern California.
Great site Melinda; you deserve one of these all to yourself and how you have it. Don’t drop the ball; post often!

I like the Pinky and The Brain world domination scheme. Good luck but … I have the same objective! ( And I play dirty
)
